You have probably heard of ChatGPT over the past month; the amazing things that the bot is capable of. Did you know that ChatGPT can also be used as an SEO tool?
Most people probably never thought of how to use ChatGPT for SEO purposes. From keyword analysis to content writing, ChatGPT can be very beneficial for conducting Youtube SEO, Website SEO, etc.
Powered by AI and reams of data, it can have natural conversations with its users, respond to their inquiries, admit when it made a mistake, turn down irrelevant requests, and even dispute the veracity of its assumptions.
In this article, we will look at ChatGPT and how you can use it to help perform SEO analysis for your Youtube Channel, WordPress website, etc.
What Are the Uses of ChatGPT?

Using machine learning and artificial intelligence in search engine optimization and marketing is still at the beginning of its untapped potential.
ChatGPT can hold its own in a conversation and answer queries with an impressive degree of human-like sophistication. It can produce essays, fictitious stories, poetry, and even ad copy, which is enough to make experienced writers a bit anxious.
Besides content, ChatGPT may also be used for coding tasks like debugging and creating Meta descriptions. Technically, using it for coding is a lot of work right now, but it seems reasonable to assume that this will improve as the learning model grows.
You may use it as a search helper to get answers to your inquiries without having to sift through dozens of pages of results. As an SEO specialist, this may seem a bit alarming. The way the future is heading, we need to embrace AI.
How To Use ChatGPT For SEO
Let’s take a look at how to use ChatGPT for SEO purposes that anybody can do today.
1. Creating SEO Content

Content creation is a pain, especially if you don’t have a talented (but modest) writer on hand. Can ChatGPT do this for you? Well, it’s kind of frowned upon to use it to create content for your website or blog, but it can.
John Mueller, the Google Search Advocate, said in 2022 that the search engine considers artificial intelligence-generated material to be spam and a breach of the company’s rules.
Google’s algorithms can currently recognize and punish AI-generated material, even that which employs techniques to evade detection.
Also they didn’t tell you this, but you can run this AI generated content through a rephraser tool, like quillbot, and have an even more unique piece of content.
I asked ChatGPT for an in depth list of the best keyword research tools. Here’s what I was given.

Now I wouldn’t use this word for word, and I so will have to do a bit more research into each, but this is a good start!
While ChatGPT has the potential to expedite many content-related chores, such as ad variants, it is important to double-check all generated material to ensure accuracy.
2. Identifying Keywords Based On Topic
Keyword identification is a breeze using ChatGPT.
The chatbot can do all the legwork for you; just launch it, enter in your search terms, and ask for similar terms. Based on its analysis of the search results, ChatGPT will provide a list of suggested terms relating to your keyword topic.
To test this feature, I looked up some keywords that were related to “make money on Youtube”
After waiting for about 15 seconds, the chatbot provided me with a list of keywords and phrases relating to “make money on Youtube”. This was extremely easy and fast to do. Are you scared yet?

3. Research Keyword Competitiveness
Now this one isn’t for the most advanced search engine optimization users, but it may be used to research keyword competitiveness.
I also asked which keyword is easier to rank for. Is it “make money on Youtube” or “Youtube shorts affiliate marketing for beginners”? This was the response.

So ChatGPT does understand SEO and keyword difficulty because it talked about very specific keywords as opposed to general keywords. Very cool but I was expecting more. I guess I am too used to the keyword competition scoring systems of both Ahrefs and Semrush, two tools I frequently use for finding keywords.
Unfortunately, ChatGPT WON’T show you the search volume of keywords. I tried to get a monthly volume first, but it said its knowledge cutoff was 2021. So I tried asking for a yearly search volume, and this is what I got.

4. Formulation of a Content Strategy
I asked ChatGPT for a content marketing strategy for a luxury Youtube Channel. Here’s what I got.

ChatGPT gave me a pretty good overview of a content strategy for a Youtube channel. Someone just starting out could definitely use this helpful strategy.
One potential drawback to implementing a chatbot-generated content strategy is the fear that your direct rivals will do the same thing. If someone else asks for a content strategy for a Youtube channel, they will most likely get the same thing.
5: Producing Quality SEO Titles
Titles are very hard to create sometimes, especially when you need them to be search engine optimized. Instead of being engaging and informative, they usually wind up being something dull like “How To Build Backlinks” or something like that.
I asked ChatGPT to generate titles for the best Youtube keyword tools list. Here’s what I got

This was really fantastic for me as I easily get writer’s block when I attempt to construct a good title. I wouldn’t use these word for word, but these titles are a great start!
A Bold New Future For SEO
ChatGPT is an absolutely excellent tool. It’s tempting to get carried away with the possibilities it holds for the future, especially in terms of search engine optimization.
With even the limited subset of features we’ve mentioned thus far, you might save a significant amount of time each year.
It does have some negative aspects, though. For one thing, as it is now running, it relies on data from no later than 2021, which means it’s impossible to offer any insight into current events.
It’s reasonable to presume that this problem will be fixed in a future update of the chatbot, but we don’t know how long it will take for AI to acquire knowledge of current events and how it relates to other issues.
Not only that, but it lacks objectivity and accuracy. The dataset it was trained on may have inherent biases, and the wrong information it receives from its inputs may be repeated.
Conclusion
The future of ChatGPT seems bright, and for good reason: it’s awesome. The results suggest that SEO might be greatly accelerated and improved upon.
As the company behind ChatGPT further develops this technology, this might mean even greater reach in the realm of search engine optimization.
